Ducati 750SS

Fed up of banks
ripping you off? property investments nose-dived? city boy investors taken large
chunks of your money and spent it? been left with a worthless piece of paper?
Here's the
answer, a genuine 1974 750SS, only 401 of these beauties were ever built with
far fewer than that surviving, there are many fakes around and they're not
actually that difficult to fake, there's no question of this one being genuine,
it has it's original bill of sale with it, and a large history file including
much correspondence not just between the original owner and the importer, but
with the factory directly.
It was the
first 750SS sold in the UK, owned for most of it's life by Roger Moss an
engineer who bought it to race, but he was very disappointed with it initially
because it seemed slow and also blew up after a short time!
After some work and help from the Ducati factory he got it sorted and raced it
successfully for many years.
The engine was totally rebuilt by Paul Klatkiewiczt at DTS about 7 years ago,
and the bike has
covered very few miles since, the rest of the bike was restored/rebuilt about 5
years ago.
One of these was bid up to over £64000( including buyers premium) at the last
Bonham's auction at Stafford, that was without the history that this bike has,
so be quick it won't be here for long at ....£60000.00
