Laverda Formula 500 / Montjuic 1978.
This is a genuine Slaters supplied MK 1 Formula 500 with matching numbers which was consequently converted to Mk1 montjuic spec in period. Great history with many bills available including a new ported cylinder head with unleaded conversion by Montydons back in 1999 and only around 8,000 miles covered since. This machine carries matching frame and engine number 5612 which was the first of the initial batch of 20 built in the factory race shop during 1971 and the first of only 164 drum brake SFC's the factory produced. Ducati MHR 900 1980.
If you're looking for an MHR900 for your collection it really won't ever get any better than this, the machine's from the second batch of 1980 so not officially one of the first 200 that came with a certificate. However this machine was bought new from Mike Hailwoods shop Hailwood and Gould and when the purchaser bought it he asked if he could have it with a certificate, they had a blank which was then filled out with the bikes frame and engine number and signed by Mike hims
