The 888SP2 was the first and original full production SP model, mega spec and mega bucks when they were new the spec really was high and differed vastly over the 851 strada that it was based on, the chassis was upgraded to Ohlins suspension back and front, fully floating cast iron front discs and a lightweight aluminium subframe. As well as the 888cc higher compression pistons the engine was treated to Pankle con rods, a close ratio gear box, big valves, twin injectors, race cams and a 300 watt alternator. This particular bike has had just two brother owners from new, a UK bike with service history its completely original and un-restored and covered just 22700 miles. We've just given it a full belt service and will fit a new pair of tyres and MOT it at point of sale.
