TZ 350 G 1980 Built for the TT as a factory bike.
Used by Charlie Williams but DNF. Used as a factory bike
Used by Jez Thrush in the 1985 MGP junior newcomers finishing 9th. Jez had quite a bit of success with the bike.
Purchased by Nick McGill from Jez Thrush in the late eighties.
Nick McGill used it in club racing for a few years and sold it to Steve Garnham. Steve raced it in 93/4 winning classic superbike and 350 races. It was purchased by the current owner Paul Goshawk in 1998.
It had sat in Steve’s workshop and was in need of restoration. It was restored in 2000 to a high standard by Arthur Parry and Paul . Arthur is a ex works Honda mechanic with a reputation for building excellent bikes.
Once finished it was raced by Paul from late 2001 to 2007. It was the last bike to win the FRC 350 Grand Prix Championship and overall club championship. The bike was always very competitive, notching up many wins and podiums with the Classic club, New Era and Forgotten Era Race clubs.
The engine was rebuilt in 2008 and the bike retired to being started up once a year. It has been recently recommissioned and can be used for classic racing , parades or classic track days. The engine never wanted for anything and has had many new parts including new gearbox.
